This DVD player is so versatile. It does everything I wanted and expected from a portable DVD player. I am completely satisfied. The only downside is that if you're using an SD card and displaying images for continuous repeat, the little box on each image says "Repeat Folder." This doesn't happen if you only view images in standard mode; only in repeat mode. Otherwise I am very enthusiastic and satisfied with this product. It is worth it if you frequently use DVDs, CDs, view photos, rip music to an MP3 player or SD card. Two other things, movie and picture playback modes, offer a quality viewing experience, and it also comes with its own carrying case. GREAT!
