I bought these to prevent the hem of my motorcycle pants from stretching my leg. You do it like a champ. Unfortunately, and it's my fault for not being careful, the metal fasteners scratched the paint and finish on parts of the bike near the inside of my ankles. So if you want to use them on a motorcycle, consider the type of your motorcycle and the position of the footpegs. If you think the metal fasteners are rubbing against a part of your bike, you might want to consider other options.
