I don't know what it is but seeing a little kid in a suit is hysterical for me . We bought this for my son to wear to his christening and wedding, it looks cute, fits well and makes me laugh all the time so I consider it a win. Not shiny fabric, not the best material but for $20 I can't complain at all! In size - my son is 3.5 years old, very thin and tall. I ordered 4T and it fits well. Knowing my child is so skinny, I automatically put on suspenders with this type of pants. If your child is normal/medium height, they fit perfectly and you don't need braces. Just be prepared to laugh all day long because they look so adorable.
