Giving 4 stars at the moment because the problems are mostly not related to this product and it works even though it costs 1/5 of what it costs version of DART. Let this be a review and installation guide as it was not provided. Bought this for my 2019 Scrambler at the risk of not paying $125 for DART. The biggest single issue with this article applies equally to darts as they are 100% the same construction except for the materials which are admittedly slightly better than DART. Now. In any case, the installation would be a problem due to the mounting of the Ducati turn signals. It is very difficult to get tools in such hard-to-reach places. But the levers that attach the screen to the turn signals have a small lip at the bottom at an angle that cuts into the forks, making assembly even more impossible as it takes up critical access space for a wrench, your fingers or Allen keys. . It can be done, but it's useless. You can remove the entire plastic assembly from the front, but you would need exceptionally long hex wrenches and that would still be a problem. Tools: 5mm and 3mm allen wrenches. the back of the shield so that the sandwich is plastic.2. You can either attach the arms individually to the turn signal mounts and then attach the shield to the shield mounts, or you can attach the shield arms to the shield and then mount the entire shield assembly to the turn signal mounts. I describe it as attaching the assembled shield with arms to the bike. Therefore attach the shield brackets to the shield with 3mm washers and thread the screws from the outside in into the shield, through the rubber washers and into the holes in the shield bracket. The screws are cheap metal so use an allen wrench as they will break. However, you can make things tight enough.3. Remove both sides of the turn signals from the bike one at a time. You will need to hold the inner nut in place as you loosen the hex bolt counter-clockwise with a 5mm allen wrench. Do not let nuts and washers fly out. Remove the washer from the inner nut as the shield mount will take up extra room on the bolt threads and you will not have room when reinstalling.4. Slide the turn signals off the turn signal bracket. Attach the protective arm mounts to the turn signal mount between the bike and the turn signal. Feed the wires through the front channel, then slide the plastic tab into place and hold as it is not tight.5. Using a hex wrench, screw in the outer screw until it clears the screen levers. You probably won't be able to tighten the nut onto the threads of the bolt, so don't push the bolt too far as the limited space will require you to suck on the bolt to tighten it.6. When the screw threads line up with the inside edge of the turn signal, hold the screw with your fingers and prevent it from turning while tightening the screw by turning the hex screw clockwise to tighten. I dropped the screen protector onto rough concrete several times during installation. I didn't notice much scratching, so while this thing is non-DART plastic and doesn't have an anti-scratch coating lol, and I'm sure it scratches easily, I wouldn't say it scratches easily. As for impact resistance, who knows, maybe it breaks more easily, but I doubt it, it feels good and is about as strong as plastic can be. This thing blocks the wind, which is what it's basically for, and it does it effectively for its size. I'm sure the DART is made out of better materials but at 5x the price it seems like a more expensive mousetrap if its ok.
