I used this along with a USB-C dock for a work laptop at home. I wanted to connect another monitor that didn't have 1080p resolution. So I connected my laptop to LG Ultrawide 2560×1080 75Hz via USB-C DP port and it turned out to be native resolution. I also switched my monitor to a Dell S2721DGF and was able to use it at 2560 x 1440 @ 120Hz. I had it on 144Hz and the monitor flickered every few minutes but when I lowered it a bit it worked. Not sure if the cable or the laptop is to blame, but the monitor works great. This is a great cable, although I haven't tested the bi-directional feature.
