Works great with LG UltraFine 21.5 " Display (22MD4KA-B)

I recently built a gaming PC or the new Microsoft Flight Simulator. This is the first time in over 15 years that that I own a PC made the mistake of buying a USB-C to DisplayPort cable not knowing it wouldn't work the other way around, after some research I found I had to buy an expensive converter to get my computer works with my LG UltraFine Monitor.However, I received this cable yesterday and it works great!I can't recommend it highly enough!

Works on ultrawide monitors 120hz 1440p and 75hz 1080p

I used this along with a USB-C dock for a work laptop at home. I wanted to connect another monitor that didn't have 1080p resolution. So I connected my laptop to LG Ultrawide 2560×1080 75Hz via USB-C DP port and it turned out to be native resolution. I also switched my monitor to a Dell S2721DGF and was able to use it at 2560 x 1440 @ 120Hz. I had it on 144Hz and the monitor flickered every few minutes but when I lowered it a bit it worked. Not sure if the cable or the laptop is to blame, but…

Bi-directional with limitation

So this cable is actually "bi-directional" with one very important caveat. It contains active electronics that require electricity. Depending on the source and destination device, this may not be the case. When connected to a Thinkvision M14, it works properly when paired with a USB Power Delivery (PD) compatible charger as this current flows through the monitor and provides the necessary power to the circuitry in the cable.
