Out of the box defective

Replacing the mechanism in an existing wall clock. Installed according to the instructions on the dial, the arrows are parallel, the battery is fresh. The second hand moves, but the hour and minute hands do nothing. To be on the safe side, let the clock run for 5 minutes. No refund possible without returning the original device - not worth the postage and my time. Be careful, future buyers.
