I bought several of these for different people. Most of them have never heard of anything like this. Starting with my wife. She liked to leave the butter in the butter dish to keep it soft and spreadable. I got her and she loved it. I bought a few others as little gifts for people when we were at their house and I had the same as my wife. So far everyone loves her.
