Review on 🔒 Bolt 7026128 Jeep Wrangler JK Hood Lock: Optimal Security and Protection by Tom Tofte

The hood lock works great and matches the display! There are reviews on here that say someone can reach the lock and slide the hood latch off the latch lever. I have a 2014 Wrangler and once installed I don't see the option to do what they claim. The back of the lock case is open, but the shape of the case itself is such that it fits snugly against the radiator. There's no place for anyone to put their fingers around it. Those reviews that say otherwise may have various jeep models that the hood lock is not designed for. Also, the installation was very easy (around 15-20 minutes) and almost anyone could do it. The lock is very secure. If you pull the key out after locking, it takes a bit of a laugh to get the key out, but it doesn't really matter much. If you are looking for an affordable and reliable Jeep hood latch then this is it.
