Review on Moonmini® Scrubbing Exfoliating Exfoliator Scrubber by Jose Gerber

These scrub body gloves get a weak four stars from me. They did exactly what they were supposed to do. They exfoliated my skin and weren't too rough or too soft. And they held together pretty well with a little help from a needle and thread. I won't lie, I had to get my sewing kit out right after I bought them. They aren't as thick as other reviewers claim. They are slightly thicker than those you can buy at the $.99 store, grocery store, or drug store. I have medium/long nails and changed a pair almost every two weeks. They ended up lasting a lot longer. However, even before I had a chance to use them, I tried them on and small holes and small punctures (like pantyhose) formed on my fingertips, which I had to reinforce with a needle and thread. . My little fix worked like a charm and they were fine after that. I've been using the same pair for three months and they are still in good condition. And I just throw them in the washing machine when I usually wash each week and let them air dry and they're still perfectly fine. I'm not exactly sure what happens when I put them through the dryer, but I really don't want to find out. And the hinges remained intact! They are sized for women only. I'm a woman, my hands are slightly larger than average and they are a little tight. Not that uncomfortable but if my hands were a little bigger or my nails were a little longer I wouldn't be able to wear them. I have no idea how a man could put that on his hands. Also note that the image shown online for this article is likely an Asian woman's hand. And Asians tend to be smaller than Americans and Europeans. It's either that or a child's hand. Anyway, I would say overall the reason they get four stars for me is the value. The quality is slightly better than the cheap ones you can buy at the grocery store or the $0.99 store (in which case you can get a dollar glove). At the time of writing this review, the average price is around $3.20 per set. And at the grocery store, you can give yourself a heart attack seeing a pair that's selling for $5.99, which is complete rubbish. So the value was a nice bonus. But I will also say that I won't give up on the pair I'm using now because it means I have to whip out my sewing kit again and strengthen my fingertips. Not a lot of time but worth it considering how long they've taken so far.
