Haven't tested them yet but just wanted to comment on the info on the box. The estimated annual energy cost per light bulb is given as $0.84 per year, with an energy cost of $0.11 per kWh. The problem for me with this calculation is that it's based on only 3 hours of daily usage. This may be standard usage for regular lights, but these are dusk-to-dawn light sensors designed to operate during the night. This means the average runtime over the course of a year will be closer to 12 hours per day, bringing the annual cost closer to $3.37 per bulb. This is 4 times the stated annual cost. The other issues I have relate to the expected lamp life of 13.7 years. Again, this is based on a lamp life of 15,000 hours based on an average usage of 3 hours per day for a lamp that is actually used an average of 12 hours per day. This results in a realistic expected lamp life of almost 3.5 years. That's 1/4 of the years you can expect from these lamps. Given the purpose of these lamps and realistic usage patterns, I think they could do better in terms of both lamp running costs and lamp life expectancy. Haven't used the light yet and that was more of an issue I had with the marketing on the box. **
