First of all, the wearer had an unpleasant smell. I thought she would fade away. BUT I tried zipping the strap together; I did it, but it was VERY difficult. The internal dimensions are much smaller than the external dimensions. The given size is wrong. The most disturbing part of this carrier was inside. The bottom (bottom) of the carrier, where the dog or cat will lie or sit, has a very coarse metal zipper that runs along the entire base of the floor. An internal zip holds the bottom to the outer base. BUT the flash inside was not covered!. This is a coarse thick zipper. An animal can rub against metal and injure itself while sitting or lying on the Blitzboden. The zipper inside is not covered! Also, there is NO padding covering the bottom or zipper. Shame on you Sherpa!
