Doesn't feel or work like a kitchen gadget

Dispatched today and passed multiple tests. My kids have fall break so I always try to keep up with their hungry appetites. I've made pizza, french fries, and chicken chops with mixed results. Lots of features, but there's a learning curve, especially after trying to replace a decades-old toaster. Aesthetically it is pleasing to the eye and is a kitchen aid that people notice and ask questions about. All of our household appliances are kitchen gadgets and we know the quality of our products. However, appearances can be deceiving. Priced at over $200 and comes with a kitchen gadget, this seems very cheap. The artificial chrome surface is brittle and easily scratched. The classic handle knurling that we're used to from kitchen utensils is very cheap, smooth plastic. Even with cool looks and features like a meat probe, I'm shocked that the kitchen help overlooked some of its signature design aspects. Aside from the aesthetics, the performance also falls short of reality. I understand there is a learning curve with cooking time, but one downside in terms of heat is door related. Another toaster I tried has a rubber sealed door like a traditional full sized oven. The heat stays on this block. With the kitchen helper, I noticed that the small gap allows more heat to escape through the door. The door is also a finger magnet, but I would expect it to be all glass and black. Also, the convection function makes a strange noise. Other reviewers have mentioned that it's annoying. I've tried this and noticed that the fans cycle on and off, cycle on and off and most likely regulate heat, but I'm again wondering if the door seal has anything to do with it. My initial use, cooking tenders, was fine. The fans made a noise when turning on and off, but stopped. During the second round, I noticed an annoying hum and the fan turning on and off. Another thing to note is that the heating elements are not covered like other popular toaster brands. It doesn't seem like a big deal, but if crumbs or whatever gets on these heating elements, it creates a horrible burnt smell for multiple uses. To the market. It's labeled as a kitchen help but doesn't appear to be a high-priced brand. There are many reviewers who love this toaster but I am not one of them. Update: I just wrote this review trying to make chicken breasts in the toaster. to bake. I've noticed that the fans sound a lot louder than they did on my first car. That's not normal. I believe that this is a defective device, but the feeling of cheapness, heat loss and high price remain disadvantages.
