I have an aftermarket subwoofer (12" JL Audio) and a Rocksford Fosgate 500w amp. I used a line out converter to convert the speaker output from the main unit to the factory amp to RCA so the new Rocksford amp would send signals to the subwoofer. Unfortunately, my new aftermarket head unit produced static noise in addition to the sound. I thought maybe this ground loop isolator would solve the problem. I think this was the pinnacle of isolating the power and signal cables and using this unit I'm not sure if it completely fixed the problem because I remember static electricity being intermittent before but it seems a bit Update: It didn't really help me, it just left the same thing, but I like to think it helps lol.
