This is my third time since 2012 that I have lost hair due to chemotherapy. Until I found this 100% silk cap to wear under my wigs, I couldn't wear the many wigs I've bought as they all irritated my sensitive scalp and made me overheat and sweat terribly. Now with a silk hat I can wear my wigs and they are no hotter than the bandana and scarves I used to wear. boring. The hat absorbs sweat and often gets wet when I take off the wig, but I don't feel it when I'm wearing it. I would recommend hand washing them as the stitching doesn't do well in the washing machine.
