My family had the best afros and even in the 80's/90's they had beautiful natural curls. I've spent my entire paycheck on every new low porosity curling product only to end up with dry hair. I have used the LCO method but the products have not given me hydrated hair. My hair has been healthy for 10 years now, but it can always get better. It made it better, I replaced new products with this tried and true moisturizing leave-in conditioner, just like my family did. I remove the wash conditioner and then use a light moisturizer, add and brush as a conditioner before leaving in a curling cream, then apply a light oil and Blue Magic Hemp Lube to set everything! My hair was hydrated, elastic and healthy!
