The whole kit is perfect and fits 2018 Tacoma. Installation is very easy, a little tight in places, but not overly difficult. I gave 4 stars because it's great up to the point where you have to tighten the carriage bolts, it doesn't work here. First, the carriage bolts are too soft. When tightening bolts that are almost impossible to tighten because the nuts are self-locking or look like it. As if they have the wrong thread pitch, they twist so much. The heat generated when turning the nuts deforms the bolts and eventually bends because the bolt is soft. I bought class 5 nuts and bolts online for a total of $4.50 to replace the ones that came with the kit and some medium strength Loctite to hold the nuts in place. It's a much better facility. For the small amount of money it costs to upgrade to a better screw I don't see why they didn't include it in the kit. The complete bolts came loose just as hard as when they were installed.
