Review on 🕒 Hardline Products HR-8061-2 Hour Meter/Tachometer for Twin-Cylinder Engines, Black by Eric Smithlin

I have used similar products on a generator before. This went to DR Premier Field and Brush Mower. Let me tell you how short it works, it works. But I had a few minor problems. The first issue is that the supplied cable is too short to reach the attachment point in the DR handlebar area. I used duct tape to stick it to the top of the motor area (not HOT). The tape is very sticky but after about 1 hour of use it was still coming off with vibration and dirt stuck to it rendering it unusable. I then used the two screws that came with it. Hope they don't fall off. The next problem is likely due to user error. When wrapping the wire around the spark plug wire, it is a good idea to use a small wire tie (supplied) to secure the end of the wire. However, the wire was still coming loose within an hour of use. I used tie wrap and hope it holds up. All in all, this is a simple device that does exactly what it's supposed to do. 4 stars. I wish the wire was 2 feet longer and there was a better way to secure the end that wraps around the spark plug wire.
