I bought 3 of these for my HTPC. I am using a Silverstone HTPC case with 4 x 120mm filter fan intakes. 1 is occupied by the PSU, and 1 originally had the original Silverstone non-PWM fan which I replaced with this one, taking over the once vacant air intakes. Due to the positive pressure method and the tightness of the internal organs, I chose a static pressure fan. I keep the minimum duty cycle at 40% and the install is quieter than a whisper after POST. Before the replacement I was getting hot spots in the case around the GPU (Evga Gtx 1050) after 1 hour of gaming and the passive case vent was more anemic than the OE intake fan. You can now feel the passive exhaust from the vents, the top feels cool, and the GPU and CPU fans run at slower speeds under load. As far as I can tell, replacing 1 fan with 3 fans actually made the machine quieter.
