Bought to replace an old buffer that I have used for many years, have probably used it a total of 8 or 9 hours so far, it has held up well, light weight, a little quieter than my older model , much cheaper than the old brand. I really doubt it will last 30+ years like the old one, doubt I'll be polishing anything else in 30 years. The speed controller is very conveniently located, you can easily adjust it while buffing by just turning the wheel while buffing, it has more speed adjustments than the old two speeds that were controlled by the trigger only.
