Our experience with the Melitta 12-cup pressure brewer was disgusting. After two months of use, we couldn't get rid of the strong plastic taste in our coffee. . We have tried all known means to rid the device of the separated filtrate, but nothing helps. So we went back to using our five-year-old Braun, which guarantees us coffee in the morning. In our opinion, the Melitta MEFB6W teapot is an unacceptable product.
