Review on MOTORGUIDE 8M4000873 MotorGuide Trolling Mounting by Brian Wersching

The previous owner of my boat didn't use the washing machine, water got in and rusted the screws on the MotorGuide bow bracket. The bolts came loose from the nuts and I almost lost the engine on the plane. Now that the story is over. It was just what I needed to reinstall my trolling motor on the bow of my boat. By the way, if you can't access the underside of your boat's bow, these bolts can't be installed. Luckily I have a plate that easily detaches where the TM connects so I can put my hands in to tighten the nuts.
