Great help to distinguish my 5 week old kittens

Great help for my 5 week old kittens! decided to get them to tell them apart. Luckily my kittens love people and didn't mind wearing collars. I added the bells later because their fur sometimes covered the collars. The bells were a little tricky because I had to completely remove the collars to put them on. Some sort of clamping system would be easier. The velcro holds up fairly well, but I wouldn't adjust more than necessary or it could wear out quickly. *Note that these are still relatively small kittens with a LOT of extra fluff. The kitten with the pink collar is the smallest in the litter and has the smallest neck. The collars are loose enough that I can slip a whole finger between them and the kitten's neck. There's also always someone at home (or at least their cat parents and nanny dog) in case they get hooked on something somehow. Otherwise I probably wouldn't use them on kittens that small. In this sense. I do not recommend using them on kittens/puppies that spend a lot of time alone unless you position the velcro so that it falls apart when you pull. Mine had to have about a turn and a half to click properly.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Some difficulties
