Review on πŸš— Enhanced FRAM Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter with Arm & Hammer Baking Soda, CF8603A for Honda Vehicles by Todd Stepp

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Airflow label or end bracket mixed up

Vehicle installed is a 1999 Honda Accord EX. The filter looks normal but either the end design or the airflow markings are upside down. If the filter were reversed it would fit correctly into the grooves at the end of the frame, but the airflow indicator indicates the filter would not be installed correctly in this case. I decided to install it according to the markings. This means it hasn't fully penetrated the frame and could be a big problem to remove next time I need to change filters. The rest is good. I think I would suggest sticking with the OEM to avoid confusion/issues. Assume the build quality is poor or the size is right (or not right) for each situation.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • No Performance
