This scale seems accurate compared to my old scale but now I weigh 2.4 pounds. this one is more difficult. It's a bit heavy and has a wide, stable base that's easier to step on, which probably improves accuracy. I don't pay much attention to body weight and other measurements. It allows me to easily track my weight by weighing myself the same way every day - right in bed naked, after a bath and before any food or drink, first thing in the morning. As a runner, I also find it helpful to weigh myself before and after my runs to see how much water I'm losing, especially in hot weather.
