Claimed to be suitable for large rooms, but this is not true. It can't even increase my moisture level a little bit. For the price, I was expecting at least a slight increase in humidity, but I seem to waste my time constantly topping it up to keep it running 24/7. It doesn't help at all and my living room is actually not that big. I have another one in my small bedroom and it can only bring the humidity up to 50%. Normally without this start it is 45%. So it's not a big change. However, it is a beautiful device and the lighting is beautiful at night. It is very easy to fill and clean. I also like that it's taller rather than wider so it doesn't take up much space on my desk. If you want something in case you get sick, that's probably fine. But for year-round use specifically for your home's humidity level, it won't work unless you live in a tiny apartment. I would recommend that you keep looking elsewhere.
