Review on SWISSELITE Glass Biloba Puff Sand Timer/Hourglass - Decorative Home, Desk, and Office Accents by Ashley Davis

I love the simplicity of the design and the contrast of black sand with my white decor. I leave the achievement/inspiration tag on because that's what I use it for and it looks decorative! I have compared this watch to other hourglasses in the same price range and chose this one for its wider profile, solid and wide base - no accidental falls so far! I know it's made of glass, but I didn't want to be that careful with it. It was packaged very well and they offer a free replacement if the item arrives damaged. In terms of functionality, it works exactly as I had hoped. I use it instead of the pomodoro timer when trying to focus. I like that my train of thought isn't interrupted by a shrill alarm clock when time is up. Rather, I have a tangible object to look at when I need to see how much time is left, and I can continue working a bit when I'm in the middle of a good workflow. It also prevents me from reaching for my phone and getting distracted by it. I definitely recommend this brand and will keep that in mind as I look to add more decorative and functional pieces to my home.
