I bought this to keep my aquariums clean. One piece of advice I can give is to be mindful of the size you need for your tank (I almost ordered the wrong size). This vacuum does exactly what it promises. Picks up all the fine dirt and debris right off the bottom of the tank. Very easy to use and safe for the fish and live plants I have. The only thing I didn't like is that the suction is so good that the water comes out very quickly, also I like my vacuum cleaner and it makes the tank much cleaner.
