I put two of these in some old speaker prototypes I designed years ago when I was at Philips - 15" woofer, 5" midrange and two types of tweeters (Peiso and magnetic - with their own sub-circuits between them). The quality of the components is very good and although the price of this device is a bit higher than some others I've looked at, the quality is much better. I daresay you probably can't buy the components individually cheaper, not even the PCB. I found the sound quality to be very good - maybe a bit mid-heavy, but I'm probably used to the sound of an old crossover that was developed back when few people had full-range speakers. systems. The old design was created to overcome the human ear's ability to reject high and low frequencies at low volume. Now we have volume controls and graphic equalizers. Bottom line, this is a great crossover for this type of application.
