EXCELLENT PRODUCT AND VERY WELL Sewn!

I initially bought this product with bar towels when I needed something with lint just for convenience to use in place of paper towels. These towels were a little over half the price I paid for some towels I bought to use as a specific brand name towels so I wasn't expecting much. To my amazement, they were EXACTLY the same weight, size and quality as the much more expensive models, also made in India; so similar that I wonder if they come from the same factory! For my current purpose, I was specifically looking for a lightweight, wrinkle free, reasonably absorbent towel that was colorful enough not to stain. The thicker ones aren't as flexible and will sometimes actually shed water, releasing more water than they absorb. When used in this way the light colors seem to stain fairly quickly past where they are intended to be displayed in the kitchen and I didn't want the environmental issues or expense associated with using bleach. They absorb moisture very well and fold easily (I cut some in quarters to replace half-size paper towels). Surprisingly, despite the intense red and black coloring, they didn't bleed at all when initially washed warm, so I'm sure they can be washed with regular laundry after each use. They showed no appreciable shrinkage and, if removed immediately after drying, did not require ironing for everyday use. I would not hesitate to buy again, either for my current purpose or as a placemat!
