I recently modernized my office with high-quality furniture and wall panels. I was arguing about placemats. Since I didn't want any "dents" on my new hardwood tables, I bought a Kodel table mat. I was impressed that it was made of high quality material, unfolds quickly by rolling it in the opposite direction, and is an attractive navy blue color with a deeper gold backing. First, I put a mat on my "desktop" table, put a wireless mouse and keyboard on it. It hasn't budged or moved after a few uses. Then he cleared the mat and busied himself with papers. Again he didn't move. Also note that the mat is a good size, not huge but adequate for many entertainment or business activities. At that point I ordered a second of the same rug for my desk and received the same positive response.
