I would recommend this case to anyone especially if you don't already have one. It's good quality and worth the money to protect your phone. Given the size of today's phones, keeping them safe can be difficult. This case helps me hold my iPhone and provides basic protection in case it is dropped. It has enough ribs to protect against accidental drops onto a *flat* surface (uneven surfaces are more likely to damage the phone). I installed it without the protective film that came with it and everything is fine. One thing to note is that the case is not sticky like silicone. It's hard plastic with little texturing. Also, it doesn't fit in your pocket. On the other hand, it's not as "stubborn" as a silicone case.
