This is a mixed review, more like 2½ stars. It's not a great vacuum by any means, but it gets the job done. Hardly. I was balancing between the rechargeable version and this 12 volt version. I chose 12V because I didn't want to worry about charging the device and battery issues, and I also planned to only use it in the car. The cord is more than long enough to get you where you need to go and the hose costs extra too. Length. If you plan on detailing your car with it, plan on spending all day on it. As one reviewer said, you can boost the suction by using a straw or something similar. For some reason it turns itself off. I think if it's put under too much stress, you have to be careful with it. If not, you will click on it every time, it's annoying. Just don't let it get stuck on anything that increases the pressure, I've found it to shut down quickly. I only use it to get rid of crumbs and dirt. He does it well, but whatever is embedded in the carpet forgets. If you spend some time on it, you can clean it up, but it will take too long, just use a real vacuum cleaner to do it. .If you look at it that way and expect nothing else, you will be fine. I don't understand why they couldn't make a more powerful device if it was wired.
