I bought these lanterns because I wanted something that could be used for Halloween and Christmas without having to take the lanterns off. I thought it would be great and they were! They were easy to install and I had no problems with the adhesive. They are very bright and can be dimmed. I can say I had to reposition them a bit and when I did they tightened the paint on my window seal. You may want to test this first before doing a full install. I had to look on You Tube how to get the DIY setup working. The instructions are not clear. You press whatever DIY number you want to use and it should turn white. Then hold down the red, blue, and green arrows one by one until you get the color you want. When satisfied, press the DIY number again. Would I buy again (in fact I've already bought!)
