The upper part of the thigh turned out to be steeper and denser than the calf. I measured the leggings with my fingers under the loose band - I've tailored menswear, I know how to use a measuring tape - Amazon customer service doesn't help and now I'm going a couple of weeks without a corset. Do not worry. Now I'm assuming Amazon has them 'in stock', we get faulty products that aren't made with measurements. As you can see from the photo, the calf is actually wider than the thigh. Because of swelling, I ordered S18 so that nothing is rubbed - of course not to be used.
