Gel pens don't give a fine line!
The art I make requires a thin and precise tip. These gel pens don't give me that. The mascara comes out unevenly and sometimes it doesn't come out at all. I usually have to apply a second coat to the line to make it light enough and that robs me of the flawless look I want. It helps to have a sheet of paper handy to spread the gel on, but I'm still disappointed with the result on my real black paper.
