I've never bought gloves online in my life. I always want to wear them first as I have big hands. What I mean by large: My right index finger is a ring size 16 and my pinky is a 10. I have purchased these bases from others who have said they run small. Welding gloves shrink within a few months of use as as a former welder with 15+ years of experience I have always bought gloves by the piece. They are very comfortable, partly too white as I've always worn black. For small use - this should last for years and no I will not be using them to put logs in my fireplace/fire pit.
