After using the headset for over ten years I decided it was time to upgrade my setup and chose the right studio mic. The quality of this thing is very good and my voice sounds sultry smooth. While I'm not very musical, the built in microphone audio interface is a huge plus for anyone looking to get into recording or editing. Doesn't replace a proper studio setup, but it's a good start for those who can't afford a big toy. After spending some time searching and comparing the sound quality to other similar mics (Blue Yeti, Hyper X, Razer, etc.) I found this mic to have the best sound for my taste. Despite being more expensive than most of its competitors, you get a very high quality and durable microphone. Also, the audio interface alone makes it a clear winner over others in this price range. The only downside I can really say is that the thing is more than is heavy. If you are using a boom, I make sure the handle can support at least 5 pounds without collapsing. As this is a condenser mic I highly recommend getting a shock mount and a pop filter as this thing is insanely sensitive and will pick up vibrations from typing on the keyboard or even the mouse If like me you should buy this mic for gaming Be sure to spend some time adjusting the sensitivity. I'm taking a little time to find a setting that doesn't capture every keyboard click.
