Good value for money, I recommend it.

In general, I do not really recommend this micro for purchase if you do not want to play a sort of "lottery" - marriage or not marriage. Both of my micros were exactly that with a factory marriage, and both marriages showed themselves within a week after the start of use. I don't intend to buy any more Samson microphones. Fortunately, I managed to get some money back by selling the first micro (it was not taken away when the second defective micro was delivered - apparently, the cost is cheaper

Pros
  • -Sound. The mids are somewhat over-boosted, giving a "radio" tone. In general, the sound is quite clear, but do not forget that this is a condenser micro - it catches everything. -Build quality, metal case. - The presence of an instrumental input. Can be used as an audio interface for guitar. -Many volume control options. Namely: the micro itself, the instrument input and the monitor / PC. Also, the ability to turn on / off the monitor with a physical switch, change the micro from mono to stereo (some of the sides seem to be output as a connected instrument) and control capture patterns - cardioid, omnidirectional and figure 8.
Cons
  • - The reliability of the electronic filling raises questions for me. 2 times I had problems with this micro. For the first time, the direct monitor / audio output through the PC stopped working for me, but at the same time the micro itself worked. Changed. Took 9 months, but changed. They sent it from the USA, and for some reason it ended up at the 2022 Post, although I bought it with delivery by courier, and in general they didn’t notify me that I had to pick it up at the post office. So that was the marriage. Now again the marriage, but this time they don’t even answer the soap. Micro just takes. And freezes. It is necessary to disconnect and connect the cable so that it works again, "reboot" the microphone. It happens randomly and, because. I use a separate DAC for audio, very hard to understand. What if it happens during the stream? OBS loses him when he shows off. And this is my 2 OUT of 2 marriage. 2 OUT 2, DAMN IT!

Do not buy if you absolutely must attach a mic stand

I bought this mic to stream and I have to say I am very disappointed with this company. It does not come with a microphone stand adapter which is needed (otherwise it cannot be attached to the stand) to connect it to the stand/mount. I've tried contacting support a couple of times and after weeks of no response I'm reluctantly returning this and saving up for a safe SM7B instead. The microphone itself sounds great. The problem for me is that the keyboard vibrates/noises too much to keep it on…

I am very happy with the microphone.

Good - I bought this mic after my built in mic in my headphones broke. After some typical web research, I settled on the Samson G-Track Pro because it was described as a "yeti killer". I have to say I'm not disappointed. From a purely non-technical point of view, the sound quality when testing the microphone with Audacity was excellent. Much better than the Logitech mic I had. When I play all my friends say that the sound quality is much better than my previous mic. The bad side: Samson doesn't

Incredible mic for Final Cut Pro X users

I originally bought the Fifine K670 because of all the positive reviews, but after using it in Final Cut Pro XI I found the volume to be too low, to be able to be used. Even with the Fifine mic and FCPX gain set to maximum, I still need to increase the audio gain a bit after scoring. I went back to research and stumbled across Samson which also had great reviews. So I sent the Fifine back and ordered this mic. When I first connected Samson and used it in FCPX I was blown away. Even with just…

Fantastic condenser mic at a good price

After using the headset for over ten years I decided it was time to upgrade my setup and chose the right studio mic. The quality of this thing is very good and my voice sounds sultry smooth. While I'm not very musical, the built in microphone audio interface is a huge plus for anyone looking to get into recording or editing. Doesn't replace a proper studio setup, but it's a good start for those who can't afford a big toy. After spending some time searching and comparing the sound quality to…

*Upgraded to 4 Stars*

Updated Review: I had a lot of problems with my first microphone. However, Samson's customer service representatives are very helpful. I contacted them and they replaced my mic for free. I was without for about 2 weeks. But the new microphone has no problems at all. That's great. *THAT* is exactly what I was hoping for from the start. The sound quality is rich and complex. The gear itself is heavy and durable. My biggest and only complaint is the cable entry/exit on the bottom. There just isn't

Great mic, great customer service.

Good at first. This mic has a certain gravity and feels very solid, like cast zinc. It's also quite large, see attached photo for size comparison with a standard coke can. The sound quality is very good and meets the needs of a youtuber or streamer. The bit depth and sample rate are better than the Blue Yeti, although you might not notice the difference when tuning. The base is solid and massive, with enough friction to keep the mic in place. Latency monitoring is as advertised and can be…

As much as possible without getting into professional microphones

This microphone is a one-piece microphone, both in terms of weight and physical construction. There is nothing consumer in it as every feature and element is manufactured with commercial quality. Physical Construction: - The first thing you'll notice is how massive this mic is as it weighs a lot. It has a round base with a rubber pad to keep it from moving easily after installation.  - The position of the microphone moves on brackets held by two hinges. There's no adjustment, but it holds…
