Updated Review: I had a lot of problems with my first microphone. However, Samson's customer service representatives are very helpful. I contacted them and they replaced my mic for free. I was without for about 2 weeks. But the new microphone has no problems at all. That's great. *THAT* is exactly what I was hoping for from the start. The sound quality is rich and complex. The gear itself is heavy and durable. My biggest and only complaint is the cable entry/exit on the bottom. There just isn't enough space between the connector and the base of the stand, so the cable gets bent quite a bit in one spot. And often it slips out just enough for my phone to mute the mic. It's a pain, but worth it, and worth upgrading/switching the blue yeti. This mic makes the blue yeti sound like the karaoke mic from Barbie's dream house. Original Review: I've been trying to get this mic for months. So I was really looking forward to his arrival. Well, unpack, put down. that is beautiful. and difficult. and feels like quality gear. But my mic has a problem with the volume control, causing it to jump to almost full gain with no volume, the loudest and most tinny sound for no apparent reason. sorry to use it because sound is great when it's actually doing its job. But alas, this thing has to go back to where it came from. he comes back. And it should be noted that the software isn't very easy to set up, and there's little to no explanation as to which file you should download - if you're interested, it's Performer Lite. no full version. Signing up and registering a product is also not intuitive. I had to google where to find the serial number (I thought it was ON THE DEVICE ITSELF, like any other serial number on any other device ever made). It is located on the outside bottom flap of the box it is shipped in. In terms of sound quality, based on plug and play with my Samsung Galaxy S9 and Smule (a couple of times the mic listened to the whole song without being a POS terminal). ), it sounded about the same as my Blue Yeti USB mic.
