Fits 2005 Toyota 4Runner

I am using these covers on a 2005 Toyota 4Runner with gray leather seats. I love leather seats but mostly I wear jeans and slowly slide over the leather which is very smooth after years of sitting. During the ride, I find myself putting my left foot on the ground to get back in the seat. I don't fall out of my seat, but I move enough to be uncomfortable and that's been a problem for a few years now. I bought a seat protector with a valve that inserts between the seat and the back of the seat and that helps, but it slides out of where it was hidden every time I get out of the car and it was on real pain. Well this seat cover solved the whole problem for me! So far I've only put one on the driver's seat. You sit very comfortably and no longer have to slip. I position myself when I get in the car and my end stays there for the whole trip :) These are very nice covers. They are a little soft, which I notice when I sit on them. This aspect can fade over time and is sat a lot, but that's why I got them. The surface is not slippery which is what I wanted. Perfect fit for my seats. The covers wrap the top of the seat nicely around the sides, leaving the levers and adjustments accessible. I had a bit of a hard time getting the rubber bands with the plastic washers through the hole under the backrest, and my 4Runner has the back of the seat closed so I couldn't easily get there to help put the washers in the correct position. position, but I managed to flip a shim so it was flush with the seatback again and didn't slide out again. The second one I'm not sure about, it was harder for me to try and spin that disc sideways. It's not the seat cover, it's the design of my seat. However, if it were easier for me to get my hand in there, those plastic discs would likely stretch, so I'm glad they fit well. I wasn't sure what to do with the longer piece of rubber band attached to each side of the lid. Based on its position I figured it should go under the seat but it would be difficult to get in there and latch the connector if it needs to go there. I pulled it out from behind the back of the seat and plugged it in with the help of my husband and it seems to work fine. I just hope the stitching will hold up and the elastic won't come loose from the seat cover. Only the elastic with the plastic washers probably won't hold this cover to my seat, but with the other elastic I tied around the back of the seat it seems to be holding up well. The gray seat cover has a slight tan cast, it's not quite gray but still very pretty, more gray than tan and looks good on my gray leather seats. Eventually I'll add a second one to the passenger seat so my seats match, but for now I'm just glad I don't slide down and have to adjust the seat many times while driving. I get it, rock myself into a comfortable seated position and that's it until it's time to get out and the seat cover doesn't slip or move when I rotate to get out. These covers may (or may not) fit other cars in other ways, but they fit my 2005 Toyota 4Runner perfectly over the leather seats. Can't comment on durability yet as I've only just started using it.
