doesn't look like it will last all season

This is a very large shoe. My 9 year old says it's comfortable and not heavy at all to wear to school all day. I think he's right because when you hold it in your hand it's pretty light. it is also unlined. I bought it as an alternative when it's really cold outside and the sneakers just don't fit. But it's not really winter boot day. I ordered it through Prime, received it in two days as expected ie Friday so my kid wore it to school on Monday and Tuesday. Today is Wednesday and this morning when we went to school I saw that the shoe was completely torn off at the front where the toes are. I understand, that these are not athletic shoes, so it is not intended for use during a heavy game such as soccer. feet etc and I know this couple didn't pull it off. on the first day it was put on completely in the school building and on the second day my children played outside during the break, but ran around regularly throwing balls. no feet, no football. I am extremely disappointed. The winters here in Kansas are very cold and very long. I was hoping this pair would last at least this season. ran around but regularly and throw balls. no feet, no football. I am extremely disappointed.
