Not my first sponge, but my first French clay sponge.

I used to love these cognac sponges, I bought 4 of them. I have tried other brands but have found the Cognac Activated Charcoal Sponge to be the most durable and long lasting yet. I know exactly how to use and store these items. But this french clay sponge fell apart after 3 uses. light used. I'm disappointed and would love to return and exchange but the thing fell apart so badly half went to waste. I am terribly disappointed. I have yet to find a way to get an answer, but I've attached this picture of what I have left after the third use.
