I used to love these cognac sponges, I bought 4 of them. I have tried other brands but have found the Cognac Activated Charcoal Sponge to be the most durable and long lasting yet. I know exactly how to use and store these items. But this french clay sponge fell apart after 3 uses. light used. I've only been using this particular product for about 3 weeks - so far I really like it and feel that it effectively exfoliates the body without being too harsh at the same time. My only real complaint about it is that there is no rope to hang it up to dry. Other konjac sponges I've bought have this feature, so I don't know if I got one that was supposed to have a rope and for some reason didn't. This is the only reason I gave the product less than 5 stars. My sponge doesn't dry out completely

I bought and enjoyed the red clay and charcoal version of Konjac. I use the slightly harder charcoal version in the summer months and red clay in the winter. Surprisingly, although the manufacturer states a lifespan of 2-3 months for the carbon version, I easily lasted 6 months before it started to show any signs of wear.
