So I bought this red scarf thinking I would wear it in Vermont and find love. It worked like a charm! I got the scarf on Friday, I drove into Vermont on Saturday and was immediately stopped at the border and asked if I wanted to work in a bookstore, hotel or coffee shop. I chose the bookstore because there was an ice rink right in front of it. It turned out to be the RIGHT thing! As soon as I walked into the bookstore, a group of women walked in, introduced themselves, and asked me to help decorate the ice rink for the city's 758th anniversary. So, I'm decorating and learning to skate when this brave little girl comes along with her stuffed dog. We had a good chat and she looked over my shoulder with that big smile and called out "Daddy!". I can't tell you how hot that guy was! Unbelievable! We're getting married on Tuesday this week! Red scarf - you did your job.
