Slows water drainage

The diameter of the basket is barely large enough to drain, preventing water from draining through the holes on the sides. The only way for water is 6 small holes on the bottom. It effectively captures hair but also retains water. It's basically a drain cover to keep things from falling in, but I have to take it off to allow the water to drain out fast enough.
