My older kitty had some 'normal' cat pimples - little black dots that look like dirt - but this June he became very infected with white spots. head open wounds. We have tried several washes and treatments, the swelling has gone down a bit but soon it will flare up again and it will never take long enough for the chin hair to fully grow back. While I have to admit it's possible, I received these treats at a time when his chin had settled down naturally - after I started giving him these treats regularly, his chin eventually settled down and became normal. It took me a few weeks to get back to normal after being in bad shape for over a month, but it got better every day. Now I can scratch his chin again, much to our delight! I'm so glad my son recovered and is doing well! Initially the treats were too big for him, especially since his mouth was sensitive, so I figured cutting them in half was a good option. He's not as obsessed with their taste/smell as most other cat treats, but he still loves them enough to eat them when offered, which is important.
