9mm works well for Lip/Monroe Piercing
These rings are very secure and will snap into place with no risk of accidental opening. They also open fairly easily and I haven't had any irritation on my lip/Monroe piercing. The 16g 9mm size works well, but the 8mm size would probably work for a tighter fit as well. 10mm would be too big for my lip if it didn't pierce more in the middle where the skin is thicker. If you are looking for a simple ring for any piercing, this is a great choice. I don't need gold. But I would still recommend it.
