Construction of good quality. I gave it 5 stars even though I couldn't use it on my bike. My fault - I should have read the Q&A section before ordering. I converted a 1975 Schwinn Le Tour to a Starr with 700cm rims. In this configuration, the rear caliper needs a lot of reach. Instead, a long-range Tektro device had to be used. Make sure you measure your bike before ordering as there are long reach calipers and really long calipers. Included a photo of my rear caliper to illustrate the offset measurement. EDIT: The maximum reach of the Shimano R451 is about 57mm. The maximum range of the Tektro R559 Super Long Reach is approx. 82mm (according to my measurements. The manufacturer's specification is 72mm).
