Best to use as a mug
I wanted this to work for small road trip paper items (straw wraps, junk receipts, etc) and it "sort of" worked. But the cup is so flexible that the top of it is constantly popping out. I don't have an issue with the size (it's like a small beverage cup) because I didn't want to fit a lot of large debris in it. But the top doesn't stay in place even if you gently push it down to eject the trash.
